In Memory of Andrea
by

Andrea, Andrea
Oh the haunting brown eyes
We were determined
To keep your memory alive
Everywhere we went we saw pictures
Of those beautiful, big brown eyes
Everyone loved you from the beginning
We hoped & prayed but it was all lies
People searched & searched
Even in the rain
We prayed & cried
But it was all in vain
But we vowed to keep your memory alive
We hoped and we dreamed you'd be found safe
Yet in our hearts, we knew
You had gone to a better place
Your short, little life
Was filled with hurt and pain
We can't understand
How anyone could do such a thing
Many would have taken you
To their hearts and home
You would never have had
To be alone
Never has anything pulled
Franklin County so close together
Your short stay here
Has left a mark, forever
We'll be better for having
Shared your tragedy
But love, too, has made its mark
Thanks to the work of so many
Soon, it will be over
For us left behind
You are in a place now
Where all are kind
We've followed the search
With bated breath
We'll all be glad
To finally put you to rest
We now know you're just fine
We now know you have the best
So rest, sweet angel
At Jesus' breast
