Did you get a hug?
Did someone say I love you?
Did anyone say you looked pretty?
on the day this picture was took.

You look like a doll,
with your bright shining eyes,
you looked like a happy child,
but what was on the inside?

I wish I could've held you,
and read you a story,
and sing you a lullaby,
and kiss you goodnight.

I wonder if you ever had those things,
that little girls would like,
a barbie doll, a tea set,
or a brand new bike?

You deserved the very best,
you should've felt loved,
and beautiful,
just like all the rest.

I wish for you
peaceful dreams,
carefree days,
and lots of happiness.

I hope you find prince charming, someday,
and have all the pretty things,
and have children of your own,
and feel God's warm embrace.
